We’ve all been there. You sit down to start writing, editing or finishing a very important assignment and bam! Your mind fills with inclinations to do a million little other things instead.
In order to grow as writers, we need to keep learning. This is why we take courses, attend writer’s conferences, and read books in our genres. With that said, I want to recommend a few books from my shelf that might be helpful in your writing endeavors.
It is tempting to look at the other writers in your life and see only their successes. You see that one has a book contract, others are working the job you’d only dreamed of, others have drastically increased their platforms—and then you look at yourself and wonder what you’ve done with your life.
